“Kalamazoo is our Hometown!” with the Merling Trio, presented by the the Bach Festival. This unusual program will feature Bach’s Italian Concerto in F Major, arranged by Adam Schumaker (mvt. I), Gene Knific (mvt. II) and Tom Knific (mvt. III), with jazz-inspired “take offs” in between each movement.

A song cycle for the millennial, written for Pierrot lunaire ensemble and soprano with amplification. Performed by new music ensemble What is Noise and soprano Jessica Louise Coe. The poetry was written by Laura Theobald and the predictive text software of her iPhone and is taken from her book, The Best Thing Ever.
